Google celebrates Wizard of Oz birthday with a Doodle

Web giant Google has pulled out all the stops to commemorate one of the world’s most iconic films, The Wizard of Oz, in the only way it knows how…a Doodle.

The 1939 flick that immortalised Judy Garland as Dorothy was released 71 years ago and had its premiere in Wisconsin.

It can now add topping Twitter trends to its cult status and c’mon everyone, don those red glitzy shoes and repeat after me: There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home.

Tweet_Tip: Why not check out an earlier Wizard of Oz post.
