Are you the silver-haired Stig?

Over 55 but fancy yourself as the next Stig? Drive along to one of the many refresher driving courses aimed at you.
The Mature Drivers Refresher Seminar offers a host of tips for the over 55s and will be taking place at Cardiff Council’s Road Safety Unit over the next few months.
All sorts of driving-related concerns are addressed, such as poor concentration, misjudging speed and distance, difficulties in seeing road signs and changes in road surfaces.
Further potential difficulties like night driving, parking and other manoeuvres will also be dealt with.

The course is run in conjunction with the Institute of Advanced Motorists and drivers who take it will be offered free associate membership of the Cardiff IAM Group.
On the second Sunday following the course there will also be an opportunity to take an ‘observed run’ in your own car, with a trained observer assessing driving skill and offering constructive advice.

Well if it is good enough for Clarkson, May and Hammond…
The next seminars are taking place on:
Thursday 15th April 1.30pm – 4.30pm
Thursday 20th May 1.30pm – 4.30pm
Thursday 24th June 1.30pm – 4.30pm
